Personalised Telescope Observatory Session

 

Our special observatory is unique; an entire roof is rolled off to reveal powerful Meade telescopes. A never to be forgotten journey of the night sky. There is nothing quite like seeing the distant stars & planets with your own eyes through our magnificent telescopes.
 

Inclusions:

  •  Your own personal guide for the evening
     
  •  Introduction to the night sky, getting acquainted with the night sky
     
  •  View the night sky through powerful telescope
     
  •  Learn about the formation of stars and galaxies
     
  •  Light Supper between sessions plus tea or coffee.
     
  •  Enjoy the wonders of the night sky for 1½ hours

EXTRA INFORMATION:

  • Expanded tour of the night sky in our smaller private observatory (one telescope). 
     
  • Numbers are restricted to ensure personal informative discussion and plenty of telescope time.
  • The entire roof moves off the observatory to enable horizon to horizon viewing of the night sky
     
  • Spend time with an experienced Senior Guide who can explain and discuss a range of astronomy topics and points out constellations, planets, stars, clusters, nebula and galaxies in easy to understand everyday terms and assists as you view objects through the telescope.
  • No experience or prior knowledge is required
     
  • Suitable for all ages although no concessions apply
     
  • Tours can be personalised to cater for specific interests or left up to the Senior Guide to select many of the seasonally best objects to view that evening.
     
  • Takes approximately 90 -120 minutes.
     
  • Operates all year round – however please contact us to discuss dates and bookings as sessions are subject to Senior Guide availability and minimum numbers.
